The VIU Students’ Union focuses on helping students in 3 areas: services, events, and advocacy. For over 50 years they have been the official voice for students of the university. To celebrate their half-century, VIUSU held a special birthday FROSH event in 2019 and invited us to live-paint a commemorative installation that embodied the three pillars of VIUSU. This piece was created with Montana spray paint on wood, in the middle of a downpour, and with Lauren in a leg cast and knee crutch! Despite the unique challenges we are thrilled with the finished piece embodies the spirit of the Students’ Union.
Medium: Montana Spray Paint
